Woods & Co Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a well-established and growing MSP to appoint an experienced Project Engineer – Network Specialist. Our client specialises in supporting and transforming IT environments across multiple organisations, focusing on Microsoft technologies, cloud adoption, and secure infrastructure design. Due to continued growth and an expanding project pipeline, they are looking to strengthen their technical team with an engineer who can work on both internal infrastructure and external client facing projects

What you’ll do:

• Lead network-focused projects, including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, VPNs, wireless networks, and firewall/security implementations.

• Deliver internal infrastructure projects, supporting systems that underpin team productivity and operational efficiency.

• Execute client-facing projects, including migrations, network refreshes, and broader IT infrastructure upgrades.

• Configure, deploy, and maintain network devices, servers, and cloud solutions (Azure, AWS, hybrid environments).

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure projects meet technical, budgetary, and timeline requirements.

• Maintain accurate project documentation, including designs, configurations, and handover materials.

• Support ongoing process improvement and best practices across infrastructure and network operations.

What we’re looking for:

• 1-3 years experience working within an MSP

• Strong networking expertise (routing & switching, VLANs, VPNs, SD-WAN, TCP/IP).

• Hands-on experience with firewall technologies (Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, Sophos).
