Notably, the group has recently ventured into wellness and requires a General Manager to play a key role in the leadership team for their world-class, private, luxurious new Toorak location. This club is the most luxurious location that the group have created yet; membership numbers a limited and the services offered are unlike anywhere else in Australia. It’s not just a gym, it’s a second home. A sanctuary for the body and mind. Creating community and connection, mindfulness, movement, strength, fitness, recovery, nutrition, and personal care.
The General Manager role is responsible for the entire management of their high-end Toorak offering. End-to-end responsibility for the commercial success of the club, experience of members and guests, membership retention and acquisition, people leadership and operational management (including H&S).

What do you do? - Take full responsibility for the success of the health club, ensuring a holistic approach to health and wellness.
- Prioritise and enhance the experience for both the team and members, fostering a sense of community and connection.
- Manage and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly business KPIs, ensuring the club's commercial success and operational excellence.
- Inspire and lead your team, fostering a culture of improvement, development, and collective goal achievement.
- Drive revenue growth across memberships and guest services.
- Proactively manage supplier arrangements to ensure top-quality products at competitive rates.
- Ownership over the P&L, with a keen understanding of key commercial drivers, opportunities, and risks.
- Create and sustain a culture of innovation, enablement, and high performance.
- Monitor and interpret the external environment to position the group advantageously in the market.
What do you need? - 5-6+ years of relevant management experience in a luxury, high-end, boutique 6-star hotels, or private all-inclusive spa.
- Operate consistently with the organisation's code of conduct and values.
- Conduct yourself in a manner that upholds the organisation's reputation and respect.
- Proficient in managing all aspects of a Profit & Loss statement.
- Ability to curate exceptional experiences, making individuals feel valued.
- Genuine, honest, and operating with integrity, with a focus on team success and development.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels, with the ability to explain concepts eloquently.
- Perceptive, inquisitive, and forward-thinking, staying updated on health and wellness trends.
