We are seeking a motivated
Head of People and Culture to lead our client’s global HR function. This Melbourne-based role will be crucial in shaping organisational design and talent acquisition strategy, ensuring our client can attract, retain, and develop a world-class team that supports our growth ambitions. You’ll play a pivotal part in defining HR strategies and building a people-first culture.

Key Responsibilities: - Manage end-to-end recruitment to ensure top talent acquisition and onboarding
- Provide guidance on conflict resolution, grievances and employee matters
- Drive initiatives to enhance company culture, team engagement, and employee satisfaction
- Ensure HR processes, systems, and policies meet compliance
- Ensure a seamless connection between the company strategy and People & Culture strategy to drive excellence and productivity
- Implement and lead a performance management process and undertake regular reviews
- Develop learning and capability frameworks to be used across the board
- Ensure the team culture and engagement is high
What you need: - 5+ years’ experience in HR roles, ideally in scaling, fast-paced environments
- Strong experience in performance management, recruitment, employee relations and culture-building initiatives
- Ability to work autonomously and strategically while being hands-on
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Knowledge of Australian employment law and HR compliance
- Relevant Tertiary qualification in Business, HR or similar
- Experience in tech/startups or exposure to global HR practices highly regarded
