What do you do? - Oversee daily pastry operations, including managing a team of 4-6 staff.
- Ensure top-notch customer service and product quality for both internal and external customers.
- Maintain an organised, clean, and safe kitchen environment.
- Manage stock rotation, shelf management, date coding, and inventory.
- Handle product display, stock ordering, and promotional planning.
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety and HACCP standards.
- Set and achieve department goals for sales, margin, and labour.
What do you need? - Trade qualification of equivalent, with 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Food Handlers Certificate | HACCP Certification for production facility roles.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, train, and support staff.
- Strong organisational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities.
- Sound knowledge of workforce management and budgeting.
- Friendly, professional approach with excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer use and adaptability to new software systems.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work independently, with a positive, flexible attitude.
