Woods & Co Recruitment has partnered with a leading business within the industrial industry. We are thrilled to offer an opportunity for a Procurement and Logistics Coordinator to join their expanding team in Australia.
The
Procurement & Logistics Coordinator will report directly to the General Manager and will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement and logistics processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition and delivery of materials.

What do you do? - Streamline order processes to ensure timely deliveries and efficient resource management.
- Work with freight forwarders, couriers, and logistics providers to optimise shipping costs and transit times.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, engineering, and operations to align supply chain activities with business needs.
- Process purchase orders and ensure accuracy in order specifications.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, shipping documentation, and supplier agreements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost savings.
What do you need? - Previous experience in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Must have international ordering and buying experience.
- Knowledge of international shipping, freight forwarding, and customs regulations.
- Must have prior experience in an industrial-sector company, such as manufacturing, construction, engineering, or related industries.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
