Woods & Co Recruitment has teamed up with a beloved Italian restaurant that’s been serving up amazing food and unforgettable experiences for over six years. Known for its lively atmosphere and exceptional service, this venue is always buzzing with activity, hosting 4 to 5 functions every weekend and delighting locals with its signature pizza and pasta dishes.

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to take the reins of this high-performing venue. If you’re ready to make an impact by modernising systems, leading a dynamic team, and helping the business continue to grow, this is the role for you. With 33 staff to manage in this fast-paced environment, you’ll be a key player in taking this much-loved restaurant to new heights.

What do you do?

• Oversee staffing: hiring, training, rostering, and leading a large team.
• Run the show on the floor during busy service periods.
• Manage 4 to 5 weekend functions, ensuring smooth and flawless execution.
• Collaborate with the owner to modernise booking systems and streamline operations.
• Play a key role in the restaurant’s expansion, especially with plans to double the capacity. 
• Keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

What do you need? 

• Proven experience managing a bustling restaurant or hospitality venue.
• Strong leadership skills to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Experience with rostering, hiring, and performance management.
• Expertise in managing functions and large-scale events.
• Familiarity with booking and reservation systems.
• A proactive and hands-on approach to service and problem-solving.
• Flexibility to work Wednesday to Sunday.
